Web Based Training (WBT)
Web-based training courses (WBT) are digital learning courses. They can be designed as a self paced course or be part of a blended learning approach, i.e. a tutor-led format. Web-based training can efficiently support training and further education and in some cases replace them. As web based training courses often have many hours of learning time, it is particularly important to design a convincing and motivating user experience. In our opinion, good web-based training is visual, interactive, inclusive, practice-orientated, entertaining and accessible.

Interactivity in web-based training
Interactive elements in the WBT increase motivation and learning success. Depending on the authoring tool, we can either draw on a range of standardised interactions or programme customised interactions. In this case, there are virtually no limits to the interactive possibilities.
Media in web-based training
A good media mix supports the learning experience in the WBT. We can produce the entire range of learning media at our agency: explanatory videos, interviews, podcasts, infographics, serious games, scrollytelling and much more.
Microlearning / Learning Nuggets
Microlearnings or learning nuggets refer to small learning modules with only a few minutes of learning time each. Microlearnings are often combined with mobile learning, i.e. they are optimised for mobile devices. These e-learning variants are particularly suitable for in-service training and voluntary learning scenarios.
Storytelling
Studies in learning psychology show that educational materials packaged in stories are better absorbed and retained for longer. At the same time, good stories can also be a great motivational factor. Avatars that guide users through the courses and motivate and instruct them can take on this task and convey content via peer learning.

Gamification
Playful elements or gamification can be a major motivating factor in digital learning. The spectrum ranges from simple elements such as quizzes or badges to fully gamified learning environments such as serious games.
Accessibility
When producing our web-based training courses, we orient ourselves on the WCAG Level AA standard for websites and make the best possible use of the possibilities in the respective authoring tool. This makes our web-based training courses more inclusive and usable for as many people as possible.
Language versions
We are used to producing our web-based training courses in different language versions and have good routines to keep the costs for additional language versions within limits. Our explanatory videos make complex information memorable and easy to understand in a short space of time. The great advantage of animated film lies in its excellent ability to visualise abstract structures, relationships and processes.
